Deepware Scanner Release Notes

       New:

• A new model was added for detecting deepfake videos generated via Avatarify.

      Improvements:

• “NO DEEPFAKE DETECTED (50%)” message was replaced with “NO FACE FOUND” error when there is no human face in the scanned video.

       New:

• An adult content filtering feature has been added. Replaying pornographic content on the result page is no longer allowed.

      Improvements:

• Videos that are longer than 10 minutes are no longer supported.

      Bug fixes:

• Scanning error with Twitter and Facebook videos has been resolved.

      Improvements:

• Scanning performance improved for videos that include many faces.
• Bounding box feature has been added for mobile scans.

      Bug Fixes

• An error causing bounding boxes not to be displayed on the player has been fixed.
• An error causing bounding boxes were displayed repeatedly has been fixed.
• The metadata error that caused the scan to fail has been resolved.

      New:

• Displaying multiple model results on the result page has been enabled. From now on, on the result page, you will see results from different detection models. We aim to give our visitors more transparency regarding the detection results.
  

     Improvements:

• We have added a “new scan” button to make it available to scan another video on the result page.

      Bug Fixes:

• Fixed a bug that duplicates scanned videos on the result page.

      Improvements:

• We have made improvements on the Scanner result page for a better user experience 🥳

      Bug Fixes:

• An error message has been placed on the Scan page to notify users when they exceed the limit. 

     New:

• Bounding box has been added to the video player on the result page. Our users can see the model’s predictions by rewatching the video. If the bounding is box red, it’s most likely a synthetically manipulated face. If the bounding box is green,  most likely the video is not a deepfake.

      Improvements:

• Improvements have been made on the Scanner Result page.
• All YouTube URLs are supported.
• The analyzed face feature has been removed from the result page.

       New: 

• Developer / API page has been published. Deepware Scanner can be used as an API. For further information, developers can read our API page.
• Twitter and Facebook video scanning features have been added. Our users can scan videos from these platforms by copy-pasting the URL.
• Public API is now free to use.

       New: 

• The first beta version of the scanner has been released. With this feature, we made it possible for our visitors to scan videos from YouTube.
• We have added an uploading feature to the scanner. From now on, you can upload videos to scan.
